headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. headspace has over 150 centres across Australia in metropolitan, regional and remote areas, as well as online and phone support services through eheadspace.
Sonder is the lead agency for headspace Adelaide, Edinburgh North, Marion and Onkaparinga.

Hours: We are seeking GPs who might have capacity to work for up to 1 day per week
Location: We are currently recruiting for GPs to work at either our headspace Edinburgh North or headspace Marion centres.

Learn about the position:
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Youth Services, you will provide a full range of medical care to young people accessing the headspace centre.
As the GP, you will engage young people to explore presenting needs in an easily accessible and youth friendly manner and will enable assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental, physical, sexual health and substance use.
Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
Experience in working as General Practitioner in a community setting
Experience working with young people and sound understanding of their health needs at this stage of development
Experience working and contributing to multi-disciplinary team
Qualification Requirements:
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) & Vocational Registration
Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).
Current or willing to obtain a Working With Children’s Check
Safe Environments – Through Their Eyes Certificate (desirable but not required)
