UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business are on the search for a committed and hard working Storeperson to join our supportive rail components overhaul team, located at our Ballarat facility.
This will be offered as a permanent role and paid under UGLs Ballarat Enterprise Agreement. You will be required to work Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm with 12 RDO’s per year. Flexible arrangements will be available for the right candidate.
About your role
Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, this role will see you working in the Ballarat store completing a variety of warehouse activities.
- Receipting, ensuring quality checking of product coming into the facility from outside vendors
- Support safe and productive storage of parts within the main warehouse and outside storage areas
- Unloading and loading of trucks with stock and components
- Picking & packing duties, stocktaking and cycle counting
- Carrying out processing on UGL inventory management systems (SAP)
- Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements
About you
- Current forklift (LF) ticket
- Excellent communication skills & work ethic
- SAP warehouse inventory systems experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment and genuine passion for safety
- Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, defense, avionics or any other safety critical environment is highly desired
