Job description
As a result of Georgiou’s continued growth and 90% of FY23 work-in-hand is already secured, we are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our project-based civil engineering team and work primarily on large civil infrastructure projects.
You will be trusted to:
Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation of Georgiou’s HSE systems
Ensure project teams are adequately trained to perform their HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements
Support the business in the preparation of toolbox and HSE pre-start content
Implements and communicates improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities
Maintaining and assisting in the ongoing development of Georgiou’s HSE systems
Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business
What you’re good at:
Aside from having relevant qualifications, you should have the demonstrated ability to lead and drive a strong safety culture via effective communication across all levels through a consultative solutions based approach to your work.
To thrive in our team environment, you should be a confident communicator who is well-organised and driven in your approach to delivering high-quality tasks on time, on budget, safely, and to high standards. It is advantageous if you have previous exposure in civil construction and/or customer-facing roles.
