We are looking for a self-motivated allied health professional driven to guide and motivate people towards sustainable and achievable health and wellbeing goals, with a strong focus on relationships and delivery to be part of the CHM team.
As a Health Coach, you will part of a team that delivers a long standing and well supported Preventive Health Program to clients of varying ages, backgrounds and health objectives. You will empower your clients to eat better, move more and make better lifestyle choices to improve their overall wellbeing.
Task and responsibilities
- Deliver Health Coaching services, exercise programming, nutritional guidance, health education modules and support - primarily via phone, email, and Telehealth platforms
- Communication with key stakeholders and external facilities and or service providers to organise the provision of activity / exercise resources.
- Management and co-ordination of client notes, calendar and case load.
- Program reporting and administration
- Drive program participation and ensure health outcomes are achieved
Qualifications and experience
- Degree qualified in an Exercise Science, Nutrition, Allied Health or related health and wellbeing field.
- Prior experience working one-on-one with clients.
- Dynamic, outgoing, positive and empathetic personality with a passion for helping people achieve their goals.
- Experience in a gym based environment or personal training in conjunction with your degree would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Effective leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A pro-active, well organised approach to allow you to work independently
- Proficient computer and administrative skills
- Customer focused attitude and passion for assisting clients to improve their health
- Creativity and innovative thinking to ensure advice remains fresh, effective and beneficial to clients.
