- Managing quality, cost control and overseeing the rostering of Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, and Group Fitness
- Driving member engagement through our social media channels;
- Recruiting, training and developing staff;
- Proactively managing member feedback;
- Ensuring gym equipment is maintained to an excellent standard;
- Delivering operational support to all fitness departments of group exercise, personal training; and
- Ensuring the overall cleanliness and exceptional presentation of the health and fitness areas;
- A passion for member engagement and high quality customer service;
- Demonstrated senior management of gym, group exercise and personal training while ensuring safety, growth and quality;
- Proven ability to develop, propose and implement ideas;
- Experience with setting and meeting performance targets and motivating staff;
- Possess natural leadership qualities;
- Strong interest and passionate about Health & Fitness industry;
- The ability to managing, mentor and motivate staff;
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver no and innovate fitness programs;
- Minimum of 2 years management experience within the industry;
- Tertiary qualification within the Health/Fitness and Management field is favourable;
- First Aid & CPR;
- A current RSA and Senior First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain (desirable)
- Recognized health and fitness qualifications to a minimum level of Certificate IV including Registration with AUSactive
- Sound financial Skills; and
- Working with Children clearance.
- Flexible hours and days (7 days a week) along with occasional interstate travel are required for this role
- Proof of right to work in Australia documentation will be required to be presented at the first interview
- Working with Children Check is mandatory for this role
