Tell me more...The Health Informatics Quality Improvement Officer is responsible for working closely with all TCHHS service delivery areas, program, and practice managers to facilitate the development and adoption of quality improvement initiatives supporting Digitally enabled models of care that drive improved accessibility, quality, safety, and efficiency.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience to investigate, analyse, interpret, or evaluate information for the guidance of staff or clients, or undertake research in relation to technical matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set project goals, prioritise tasks and troubleshoot in order to achieve key objectives within designated timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately and proficiently across varying audiences and contexts, with demonstrated experience in preparing high-level reports, correspondence, and briefings. 
  • Proven experience providing training and change management support to health care professionals and, Ability and willingness to facilitate educational workshops and develop quality educational resources.

Requirements for the role:

  • It is a mandatory condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough).
  • Whilst not mandatory, a formal Information Communication Technology (ICT) or Health Informatics qualification is well regarded.
  • Travel across the TCHHS will be a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.
