Monthly compensation, paid in AUD

Compensation range will depend on experience level, location, and work arrangement for qualified candidate

Abilities

  • Strong communication skills in written and oral forms across a range of situations 
  • Ability to distil large amounts of information into key points including performing data analysis or interpretation of figures and statistics where required
  • Strong research capabilities including accurately and appropriately sourcing all work
  • The aptitude to build a network of influencers and media commentators and connect these with different clients to fulfil commercial objectives
  • Outstanding organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios, including managing up where required

  • ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Admin

  • ​​Coordinate and manage executives' calendars, prioritise commitments and optimise schedules.
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute relevant documents.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, photo shoots, and other logistical activities as needed.
  • Research, update, and maintain company databases as required
  • Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
  • Manage Third Hemisphere systems and procedures such as Monday.com, Google Drive, Meltwater, Whatsapp, Hubspot, and others
  • Assist with travel plans, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Manage and organise executives' email correspondence.
  • Handle personal projects and initiatives as requested by the executive.

Client account support

  • Manage client WIPs, e.g. Document and share key insights from client meetings, ensuring timely and proactive communication.
  • Assist with media briefing notes and media training as required
  • Provide timely and proactive day-to-day client support & comms
  • Manage comms between clients and media
  • Create client coverage reports

Business development assistance

  • Build rapport and credibility with existing and new clients
  • Maintain a database of leads, tracking their progress and interactions with the company
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, including pipeline status.
  • Prepare business proposals to potential clients, outlining the value and solutions Third Hemisphere can provide

Writing & Editing

  • Media content creation (final copy), e.g. Media releases, blogs, editorials, client media commentary
  • Media pitching content, e.g. Journalist pitches such as newsjacking
  • Strategic client content, e.g. Strategy Decks, briefing notes, Coveragebook Reports, client advice
  • Interviewing clients to extract info, e.g. RFIs
  • Editing, e.g. Client commentary, writing from other staff
  • Research more broadly, e.g. When instructed for a written piece

Media relations

  • Building new journalist relationships, e.g. Researching important journalists and reaching out for an initial conversation
  • Managing existing journalist relationships, e.g. Coordinating interviews, managing concerns, responding promptly
  • Maintaining journalist databases, e.g. Managing/updating Meltwater and Hubspot databases
