What You Will Be Doing
The Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder is accountable for the provision of coded patient data, participating in quality improvement activities, combined with maintaining professional links within Peninsula Health.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
Excellent knowledge of clinical coding principles and standards
Understanding of the National Funding Model
Understanding of DH data reporting requirements ie VAED
Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent/higher qualification

Please refer to ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021 – 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
This role must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and meet the requirements of the Peninsula Health immunisation policy.
