About the role: Health Information Services Clerk
The Health Information (HIS) Services Clerk performs a wide range of clerical tasks to assist in the provision of an efficient, effective and highly confidential health record service at GV Health. Primary duties include:
The collection and co-ordination of clinical documentation.
Scanning, allocation, review and quality checking the digital images of scanned clinical documentation.
Reception duties including processing requests for information from external service agencies in line with legislative requirements.
We are looking for
Be highly motivated and well organised.
Be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Be able to work within a team and positively contribute to team culture.
Work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
Proven ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a strong customer service focus.
Have strong computer skills, including MS office, with the ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
