Health & Safety Coordinator

The Company:

Leading Australian commercial builder operating across various Industrial, projects. This company has grown measurably over the past few years and continue to do so, priding themselves on the fantastic working environment they offer.

This is an exciting site based role in Western Sydney. Looking for someone to join the team who has experienced in site work. - Having a trade background is highly regarded. 
  
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
• Ensure legislation is adhered to
• Provide training & advise to team members and subcontractors
• Conduct reviews and risk analysis
• Manage and develop relationships with employees and stakeholders
• Incident investigation and reporting 

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum Cert IV in OH&S 
• 2 - 5 + years in a HSE role within in the construction industry
• Previous experience working for a Commercial builder on new build or refurbishment/fit out projects
• Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
• Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
• Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills
