The Role 

We are looking for a Heat Pump Installer to undertake works for our Burnie branch. The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys trade works and practical hands on tasks. No prior Trade qualifications required, although desirable. 

Responsibilities include:   

• Maintain best practice in relation to WHS on all sites / tasks; 
• Thorough understanding of apprentice supervision rules and role modelling appropriate standards of behaviour; 
• Ability to communicate with other trades and head contractors with site planning/issues; 
• Installation Testing and Commissioning; 
• Handling basic service, repairs and maintenance; 
• Fault diagnostic; and 
• Reporting of work carried out in our job management system.   

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:  

• Good time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks;   
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; 
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team; 
• High-level attention to detail, problem solving and sound judgment; and  
• Ability to use app-based programs.  

Minimum requirements:  

• A current car driver's license; 
• White card;  
• Willing to have a police check; and 
• A working with vulnerable people card or willingness to obtain. 

Desirable:  

• Certificate II in Heat Pump Systems (Heat Pump installer) 
• Previous Construction Industry experience in any of the Trades or Motor Mechanic. 
• Experience in domestic installations would be an advantage. 

Attractive Remuneration Package-including:  

• $70,000 – $75,000.00 based on a 38-hour week plus:
