About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Program Manager to lead the Individual Support Services (ISS) in Rockhampton and Gladstone. The ISS program works in partnership with Child Safety to provide holistic trauma-informed support to children in the child protection system.
- Full time position.
- Level 8 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $120,339 - $125,067 plus super.
- Permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, professional support, and quality management of the ISS program.
- Line management responsibilities of ISS team members.
- Build relationships with key partners to ensure the outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure individual package and program budgets and reporting meets all program requirements.
- Implement and monitor the use of a shared practice framework that includes informed interventions.

About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, psychology, social work, human services).
- At least five (5) years’ experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a similar program and environment.
- Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland.
- Capacity to foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and the community.
- Ability to lead and build a strong, cohesive team in alignment with Act for Kids’ values.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
