Norbury Auto Electrics are one of a very small number of Auto Electrical companies in Victoria with a team performing on-site Field Service work for the Mining and Construction Industries.
We have been in operation for 24 years and work on many sites including quarries, mines and land developments.
The role
We are currently seeking at least one experienced Field Auto Electrician to join our team located in Melbourne's south-east.
As one of our skilled Field Service members, you will travel to variety of sites each day and investigate diverse and interesting problems.
You will be supplied with a purpose-built company vehicle, computer, phone, fuel card and all required tools (other than hand tools that you have in your own toolkit).
Skills and requirements
- Full Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Ability to work independently
- Good presentation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Completed Auto Electrics Apprenticeship
- ARC Air Conditioning licence (some air conditioning experience is advantageous)
- Current valid Australian drivers licence
Previous experience
- Diagnosis of low voltage electrical faults, preferably in mining and construction machinery
- Understanding of circuit diagrams and wiring
- Installation and fault finding of electrical and safety equipment
- Use of manufacturers diagnosis software or scan tools (beneficial)
- Air conditioning experience (beneficial)
