Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - Carnarvon
Due to our expanding fleet and operational commitments, we are looking for an industry-experienced mechanic to maintain our varied fleet ranging from commuters to touring coaches. This involves fault-finding, diagnosis, parts ordering and sub-contracting work to maintain our fleet's continual productivity.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain the workshop in-line with company guidelines.
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, tasks include but not limited to:
Preventative maintenance of light and heavy vehicles
Adhering to company policy and procedures
Maintaining accurate records within company software programs
Vehicle servicing and registration compliance readiness
Attending on-road and after-hours breakdowns
Meeting operational requirements
Who you are:
A can-do attitude supporting the operational team
Ability to work autonomously and maintain vehicle requirement schedules
Strong organisational skills
Preferred experience within the bus or transport industries
Strong communication and computer skills
Minimum HR Drivers license a must
