Heavy Duty Diesel Motor Mechanic

Zerella Fresh is one of Australia’s largest growers and packers of Carrots, Onions and Potatoes supplying Australia’s leading supermarket chains plus independents and exports and is looking for a hands-on and enthusiastic team player to join this rapidly growing and market-leading producer.

Heavy Duty Diesel Motor Mechanic required.

Repair, maintain and test diesel tractors, trucks, utility vehicles, forklifts, harvesters and farm equipment.

Duties to include:

• Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance on all equipment

• Carry out field diagnostic and fault finding with assistance of computers

• Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components

• Reassemble engines and transmissions

• Inspect and repair all vehicles to achieve roadworthiness

• Diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers

• Keep necessary service and maintenance records

Formal Trade certificate required plus a minimum of three years previous experience is essential.

Annual salary of between $70,000 and $80,000.

Australian citizens and permanent residents will need to relocate to Parilla, South Australia
