AddressElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
The Role:
Elecnor has a highly rewarding opportunity for qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle/Plant Mechanics to join our Plant and Equipment team in Buronga, NSW. (Near Mildura).
This is a full time permanent fixed term contract on a FIFO or DIDO basis, working 10 hour days on a 21/7 roster.
What you will need for this role:
- Current White card
- Trade Qualification/License
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a similar role - FIFO/Renewables/Heavy Duty Mechanical and Plant work
- Additional tickets such as telehandler/forklift/high risk very beneficial
- Full Australian work rights
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
