Our client is a highly respected Australia owned specialist mechanical repair service centre based in Dandenong. They are a market leader with a reputation for product excellence!!!
They specialize in truck mounted EWP's, crane borers and vehicle loading cranes. Due to ongoing growth and an exceptional reputation, they are currently seeking a permanent truck Diesel Mechanic to join their close knit team.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs, including long term maintenance of diesel trucks and plant (ewp,booms,cranes winches)
- Complete tasks with the utmost precision, meeting deadlines consistently
- Conduct vehicle inspections and assessments as necessary and complete the required documentation
- Foster a clean, safe work environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Routine and specialist diagnosis of vehicle/plant failures and implement resolutions
- Participate in routine administrative matters (team meetings, communications, planning and Tool Box sessions)
- Identify and/or make recommendations or implement opportunities to continuously improve workshop operations
Skills & Experience
- Full qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic
- Energetic and positive "can-do" attitude
- Driven and passionate about the job
- Excellent communication skills
- Hardworking and punctual
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong focus on teamwork
- Proven experience in a similar workshop role
