As a member of the Lineage team, you are a critical link in the food supply chain.The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members.As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Heavy Vehicle Fleet & Equipment Manager to join our team in Brisbane or Sydney and manage our Queensland & New South Wales fleet.Reporting to the National Fleet & Equipment Manager and based at either our Hemmant facility in Brisbane or Lurnea in Sydney, you will work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure our rapidly growing fleet is maintained to the highest possible standards and is ready to meet the requirements of the business and our customers.It's important that you are a passionate Heavy Vehicle Fleet & Equipment professional who understands the operational requirements and key contingencies that need to be in place to support complex business needs.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Scheduling and administering the repair and maintenance activity of existing fleet and equipment including input and reporting via the Lineage CMMSEnsuring repair and maintenance activities are completed to the required company, legislative and commercial standards.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational requirements and contingencies are addressed when scheduling fleet and equipment repairs and maintenance (including after-hours breakdown management)Managing the repair and maintenance budget for equipment, ensuring variances to budget are explained.In conjunction with the National Fleet & Equipment Manager developing and managing a replacement plan for existing equipment, with scheduled introductions of new equipment and disposal of legacy equipment.Developing business cases for new equipment types in conjunction with National Fleet & Equipment Manager that support the business strategy.Preparing Capex submissions for new equipment approvals (Road and RailTo be successful, you will have:Experience in a similar role at a management or supervisory level.High level of CMMS understanding.Qualifications – Mechanical trade qualifications desirable but not essential.Must possess high level of technical knowledge and understanding of Heavy Vehicle componentry.Demonstrated understanding of current heavy fleet maintenance methods and management.Why is this opportunity exciting?This is a rare and unique opportunity to impact the Heavy Vehicle Fleet & Equipment strategy for Lineage in Queensland and New South Wales, supporting our safety, growth and customer service aspirations across the two states.We’re also a values-based business which puts the safety and respect of our team first and believe the foundation for stability & growth starts with trust, support and collaboration.As the global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, you will also have the opportunity to build a long-term, stable career working with some of the most talented professionals in the industry.Our Purpose: Transform the food supply-chain to eliminate waste and help feed the world.Our Vision: To be the world’s most dynamic temperature-controlled logistics company.Our Values: Safe, Trust, Respect, Innovation, Bold & Servant Leadership.Why Lineage?Lineage is more than just a cold storage logistics business.
