THE ROLE
We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic for our Portland operations.
They will be responsible for the service, inspection and repair of Qube Forestry transport fleet (owned, partially owned, hired and/or leased to Qube).
Qualifications and Experience
- Heavy Commercial Vehicle mechanic trade certificate
- Minimum of two years heavy/medium/light vehicle experience
- Experience in mobile plant equipment. Heavy Vehicle mobile mining equipment preferred
- Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
