The Role
Truck Centre WA are currently recruiting for experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our New Truck Preparation Workshop located at our brand-new, custom-built Maddington branch. This role will see you responsible for completing pre-delivery fit up work on our new and used vehicles prior to being delivered to our customers.
As TCWA pride ourselves on providing a quality product to our customers, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the highest levels of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure all work is completed on time and right the first time.
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade certificate (essential)
- Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to communicate identified defects
- Strong computer literacy
- Self-Motivation and the ability to work autonomously
- Proven track record of quality workmanship
- Experience with Mack, UD and/or Volvo Product is highly desirable, although not essential.
