Our client is a 100% Australian owned and operated business providing strong focus on both diversity and sustainability, within the essential services industry.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, you will work on a fleet of Heavy Vehicles.
About You:
- Relevant Trade Qualification in Heavy Vehicles
- Previous fleet experience in a similar role highly regarded.
- Strong initiative and an ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience in hydraulics, auto electrics or welding highly regarded
- Current rigid truck drivers’ licence an advantage
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative, scheduled maintenance and repair of Heavy Vehicles
- Ensure fleet is maintained and compliant with company standards
- Work safely and effectively following safety guidelines and procedures
- Maintain service records and documentation to a high standard
- Manage emergency breakdowns as they arise
If successful, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical along with drug and alcohol testing. Evidence of driving record/history may also be required.
