About the Role
Due to our continued growth we are currently seeking qualified Heavy VehicleMechanic to be based at our Muswellbrook Branch performing Workshop and or Minesite work.
Our Mechanics play a vital role in our business and are responsible for maintaining the companies' excellent reputation of high quality mechanical repairs, servicing and maintenance that is paramount to our valued customers.
Key Duties
- A demonstrated safety first work ethic and professional attitude
- Experience with Heavy on highway vehicles including BDoubles, Bogie Axle vehicles, trailers, trucks
- Diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance
- Willing to both contribute and learn from others; and
- The ability to build clear and open communication with clients, management, supervisors, leading hands and team members.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills
- Appropriate trade qualifications in Heavy Vehicles
- Excellent communications skills
- Team Player and pro-active
- Proven capacity to problem solve with excellent time management skills
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Current drivers licence
- Possess, or be willing to attain an MR drivers licence
