Form of workWe are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for our busy Sydney and Brisbane based dealerships. This is a fantastic opportunity if you have prior experience working with Volvo Trucks, Volvo Bus, Mack or UD brands, or other European truck brands.
What you will do
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
- Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
- Component overhauls
- Driveline repairs
- Preventative maintenance services and repairs
- Offisite and breakdown repairs

Your future team
Sydney West, NSW
The Sydney West dealership is located 35 minutes outside of Sydney CBD. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the workshop-based team is 50 strong, made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisors, Parts Interpreters, and Costing Clerks. The Sydney West dealership has created a fantastic working culture, hosting monthly BBQ’s and ensuring a family-like atmosphere.
Brisbane North, QLD
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the Brisbane North team of roughly 40 is also made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisor’s and Costing Clerk’s. This dealership is located in one of the largest industrial hubs in Brisbane, close to the airport and the Gateway Motorway. The team pride themselves on forging a supportive team environment and take pride in the detail of their work.
Who are you?
In this role, you will bring:
- A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification (unfortunately we cannot accept Fitter qualifications)
- A NSW Trade Card (only applicable for our Sydney dealership, can be obtained after successful recruitment)
- Proven experience working as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in a commercial environment
- Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck brands
- Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
- A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
- A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
