In this role, you'll:
be responsible for undertaking the inspection, routine maintenance, and repairs to TfNSW fleet of Vehicular Ferries and associated mechanical, hydraulic and 12/24V electrical equipment.
Based in our works depot in South Windsor and onsite services covering our ferry locations along the Hawkesbury and Parramatta Rivers. If you like to work outdoors and take on new challenges, this is the role for you.
Vehicular Ferry operations in the Sydney region operate on a 24/7 basis with the successful candidate having an availability to work with the rest of the team to share after hours call-out and emergency response activities relating to the operation of the Ferries for the provision of a reliable, safe, and efficient ferry service to the local community and the people of NSW.

About you
You will hold a Certificate III in a Mechanical field or equivalent.
You have experience in the diagnostics and repair of Hydraulic and Auto Electrical systems, metal fabrication and welding capability will also be highly regarded.
You must hold a current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and hold or be willing to obtain prior to commencement a current Construction Industry White Card.
