Sheridan Road Rail are NSW largest supplier of Hi Rail Trucks to Rail Network Owners and their contractors.    Our large NHVAS accredited workshop is located in Riverstone where we maintain our fleet of float trucks and a broad range of Hi Rail plant including, flat bed trucks, crane trucks, concrete agitators, hydro vac trucks, telehandlers, EWP’s, MEWP’s, excavators and more. 

Always at the forefront of our industry, we have recently significantly invested in expanding our fleet through the purchase of heavy rail construction plant and electric/Hybrid MEWP’s.

To support the continued success of the company we are seeking to employ an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join the team and enjoy a long rewarding career with us

Your work will be varied and enjoyable, and you can expect to increase your experience and skills as you maintain such a varied range of vehicles and Hi Rail plant.

Reporting to the Yard Manager your duties will include;

• Scheduled servicing of our full range of Heavy Vehicles and Hi Rail plant
• NHVAS compliant record keeping, using paper and technology based systems
• Ordering parts and managing inventory
• Learning to inspect and maintain all types of vehicles and plant within our fleet

In addition to holding Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualifications, you must also posses a MR or HR truck license

Ideally you are looking for a secure long term position. You enjoy working in a great team executing your work effectively and safely, and can adapt and learn new things.
