Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting Traineeship

Hornby Transport Services are currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting Trainee to join the team. 

Working with qualified and skilled motor mechanics you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.  

If you have a passion with trucks and want to make it into a career, this is the job for you! 

Duties will include but not limited to:  

• Assist qualified tyre repairers in the performance of tyre preparation
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim / tube damage
• Learn to select correct tyres / rims / tubes for each specific job task.

The successful candidate will:  

• Be a confident communicator. 
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry. 
• Be trustworthy and reliable. 
• Be safety conscious. 

Preferred but not essential: 

• Have manual driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
