SAFEMASTER SAFETY PRODUCTS are WA's leading designers, manufacturers, suppliers and installers of Height Safety systems, roof access systems and fall prevention equipment. We also provide comprehensive audits and certification.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the inspection and certification of existing Height Safety systems in accordance with Australian Standards and WHS legislation, ensuring clients have Height Safety systems that are safe to use, recommend upgrades and replacements where applicable. You will also be responsible of producing equipment logs and certification documentation.
Tasks include:
- Field-based compliance inspections of existing Height Safety systems.
- Site safety assessments and auditing.
- Provision and completion of certification documentation.
- Liaising with the sales team to notify of any opportunities.
- Providing support to the scheduling team & service manager.
What you will need:
- Current unrestricted driving license.
- Sound personal presentation.
- Ability to build relationships with team members and clients.
- Ability to work individually or part of a team when needed.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness and the ability to travel.
- Willingness to learn and upskill.
- White Card - General Construction Industry Induction
- Working Safely at Heights qualifications
- A construction background
Attributes that would be an advantage but not essential:
- Previous experience in the Height Safety industry
- An understanding of design specifications and industry standards
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
