About the role: We are seeking a Helpdesk & Network Support Officer to join our Information & Communication Technology team. This role will be based onsite at our Herons Creek NSW mill. Reporting to the General Manager ICT, you will be responsible for providing remote and on-site Level 2 technical support for end users. You will work with the ICT Infrastructure Administrator to maintain the day-to-day operation of all technology infrastructures. Which includes data center, network and server services, manufacturing systems, telephony, service monitoring including firewalls configuration and network equipment, storage, and related software. The role will provide valuable skills and knowledge to the ICT department which are pivotal for ensuring the availability, integrity and security for all ICT systems and infrastructure. This position plays a key role in business improvement and requires the development of highly effective working relationships across the business. You will be given a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise within a dynamic team that takes pride in the work they do. Due to the nature of this role, work will be required outside of normal working hours and travel between sites will be required. About you: To be successful in this role, you will have expert knowledge of service desk support procedures and techniques. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service and support. You possess excellent problem-solving skills, continually identifying areas of opportunity and improvement. You have sound technical competency to undertake routine server, network and desktop systems operational maintenance tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to: Assist the ICT Team in system support and maintenance across multiple sites Provide onsite support travelling between sites with the occasional evening and weekend work required.
