This opportunity is available on a FIFO basis from Perth or for those residing in Kalgoorlie. - Safely load and unload Specialised Class 1 Explosive products
- Secure and restrain loads according to operational requirements
- Adhere to the Australian Explosives Industry Code of Practice Regulations and Legislation
- Transport freight safely and efficiently to and from customer sites
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail when handling high-consequence products
- Current MC Drivers Licence (essential)
- Current DGSC licence (essential)
- Current DG Drivers licence (essential)
- Current C1 Explosives licence or Statement of Attainment for C1 course (essential)
- HRWL - Forklift
- National Police Clearance: No older than 6 months (essential)
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience driving double road trains.
- Previous experience in transporting dangerous goods.
- Safe driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
- Thorough understanding of road transport legislation and the Australian Explosives Industry Code of Practice Regulations.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Experience working in remote locations is an advantage.
