Client is responsible for delivering a range of capabilities and initiatives supporting national cyber defensive capabilities. These include provision of company's systems certification and accreditation services, including assessment and assurance of company's approved High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment (HACE), Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and other security enforcing technologies. A High Assurance ICT product evaluator is required to support and ensure the successful delivery of the company's capabilities and initiatives. The ICT Evaluator will be responsible for carrying out High Assurance (HA) evaluation work at the classified level for both HACE and CDS and other security enforcing technologies as directed in a selection of large internal and external projects.
Client evaluations involve rigorous analysis and testing of product lifecycles to search for any security vulnerabilities in products. Evaluation efforts may include, but are not limited to:
- Supply chain analysis (PERSEC/PHYSEC);
- Cryptographic implementations (CRYPTSEC);
- Software/firmware integrity; and
- Network/Communications Security (COMSEC)
- Proficiency in consuming evaluation artefacts, drafting and executing product test plans based upon this documentation.
- Assisting with program and project planning and drafting of product test plans while and assisting with training and uplift of both staff and labs.
- Proficiency in software and/or electrical engineering.
- Clear understanding of cyber security principles and their application.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to employ a variety of tailored communication skills (written and verbal); and excellent work ethic, able to self-manage and progress tasks independently.
