The Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator / Site Engineer to join our South Coast team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will commence your role working on an exciting project in the heart of Berry, NSW.
This is a site-based role where you may be assigned to work on projects in the Illawarra or Kangaroo Valley regions. You will be working solely on luxury residential projects of $5M-$20M in value, which may range from renovations of established residences to new residential builds, with a focus on quality above all else.
This is your opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge working in a detail-orientated, quality-driven building team with an excellent industry reputation, reporting directly to the construction manager.
Key Attributes:
- Successfully deliver projects from pre-construction through to defect liability, handover and even ongoing maintenance
- Drafting scopes of works, tendering, awarding and administering subcontract work packages
- Accurate cost control, including identifying and managing variations, and delivering cost reporting directly to the client
- Construction detail resolution, document control, and estimating
- WHS compliance, uphold company policies, quality assurance & risk assessments
- Review technical and contractual documentation
- Prepare documentation and administer claims
- General administrative duties
- Assistance onsite with construction management
Core Skill Requirements
This is a site-based role, so a desire to learn, understand and execute building is essential to be considered for this role. Successful candidates will also need:
- to have a minimum of 2 years experience in construction administration or management.
- High-end residential experience is preferred;
- CAD or high quality hand drafting skills is preferred;
- to be well presented, with strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn;
- Strong communication skills is essential;
- High degree of English proficiency;
- Experience working on a construction site;
- A positive and driven personality;
- to be available while site is open Monday to Saturday;
- Their own vehicle and active drivers licence and white card;
- Australian working rights; and
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Building, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or another related degree is preferred.

- Travel within Sydney to various projects is required
- Remuneration is negotiated based on skill, experience and qualifications; and
