As a Sun Metals Operations Support Worker (High Pressure Water Blaster), reporting to the Operations Services Department Team Leader, you will operate High Pressure water blasting and vacuum truck equipment safely and efficiently, performing daily industrial cleaning of pipes, vessels, tanks, heat exchangers and other miscellaneous equipment and machinery in the refinery.
We’re searching for an experienced High Pressure Water Blaster, with the following:
- Competency to operate High Pressure Water jetting systems - J201A or J301A;
- HR licence;
- Confined space competency;
- Work at heights competency;
- Demonstrated safe work behaviour;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment without supervision;
- Good workplace communication skills;
- Willing to learn new skills and adapt to new challenges;
- A positive and proactive approach while taking accountability for work performance;
- Physical capability to work in hot and/or dirty conditions, walk on uneven ground, climb ladders and enter confined spaces; and
- Maintain personal punctuality and reliability for work.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning in a processing or heavy industrial environment.
