High Pressure Water Blasters

EnerMech are currently looking for experienced industrial services technicians for upcoming Gladstone roles

As an Industrial Services Technician with EnerMech you will have the opportunity to grow with the business and contribute to the organisation's continuing success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• High pressure water jetting work including:

• Aqua milling, Aqua lancer, tank cleaning, vacuum loading, field maintenance of equipment
• General industrial chemical cleaning
• Degreasing
• Passivation

• Assisting team members with setting up onsite mechanical pressure systems of liquid / air pressure systems including components of: pumps, hoses, generators, filters etc.
• Setting up of calibrated equipment within mechanical pressure systems
• Work under Leading Hands in all tasks, responsibilities, duties, work and projects as may be requested
• Perform any administrative requirements including accurate completion of work timesheets, JHA’s, vehicle check sheets, equipment inventory lists or any other documentation as may be required in the role.
• Follow EnerMech best practices and internal policies in relation to safety, fatigue, cleaning equipment, support equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, inventory control, client relations.
• Driving and operating of vac truck,
• Participate in external and/or internal training as required for:

• Upskilling and/or cross training
• Retraining as required with equipment updates, changes and new release
• To meet customer site requirements

• To be considered for this role you will have experience in ANY of the following areas:
• High pressure blasting, Pressure testing, chemical cleaning,
• Must have experience around mechanical equipment and items.
• Ability to react, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Willingness to accept new challenges.
• Strong focus on Teamwork and capable of working unsupervised.
• Positive and team-based attitude.
• Willingness to learn other industrial services such as leak sealing, hot tapping, chemical cleaning, pressure testing.

Required skills and Tickets:

• Current Driver License
• High pressure water jetting (HPWJ) Licence
• Heavy vehicle licence - Non syncro manual license (highly desirable)
• High Risk Work licence, Forklift, dogging/rigging (highly desirable)
• Construction Induction (White or Blue Card)
• Working at Heights within 2 years is desirable.
• Confined Space Entry within 2 years is desirable.
• RTAY access card and QAL access card is desirable.

This is a Gladstone based role with frequent travel to site, some weekends and may require periods of time away from home.
