Position: High School Mathematics Teacher
Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Belrose, NSW
Starting Date: January 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons for students in Years 7-12.
- Develop strong programming that meets the diverse needs and interests of students.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that aligns with our Christian values.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to encourage growth.
- Foster a close partnership with parents to enhance the educational experience and development of each child.
- Participate actively in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Be willing to teach other subject areas as needed, contributing to the overall curriculum and student development.
- Work effectively in a team and independently, contributing to the school's home-like environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching accreditation in NSW.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics to High School students, Years 7-12.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
- Flexibility and willingness to teach other subject areas.
- Ability to program independently.
- Desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of teenagers.
