Commencing Term 2 or earlier, an exciting opportunity has become available for an engaging, personable and organised individual to join the High School Math Department. This is a permanent ongoing position, teaching across Stage 4 to 6.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be enthusiastic about their subject and want to inspire young people
- Provide high quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs and activities that are contextually relevant, promote independent learning and integrate relevant technologies
- Work as a collaborative and reflective member of the Faculty
- Participate in the Co-Curricular life of the College
- Be committed to ongoing professional learning
- NESA accreditation to teach High School Mathematics
- Have relevant teaching experience in a High School setting with a passion for learning and teaching
- Have demonstrated experience in implementing educational best practice within their subject area
- Possess well developed interpersonal skills
- A strong work ethic, displaying determination, self-motivation and curiosity
- Salary above the Multi-Enterprise Agreement level.
