Wood is seeking expressions of interest for High Voltage Electricians with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our team, at the Ampol Refinery.  For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton, and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams. 

This role will play a pivotal part in the continued support of our maintenance contract at Ampol, as well as being a part of a supportive and innovative team.

Skills/Qualifications

As Woods next HV Electrician, the below skills and qualifications are required:

• Must be Electrical Trade Qualified with proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environment,
• Previous Leadership Experience as a supervisor or team leader
• Ability to read and interpret markup drawings and diagrams to construct electrical equipment,
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems,
• Previous HV/LV distribution experience,
• Extensive knowledge of HV operations infrastructure and fault finding,
• Good knowledge of HV/LV switching systems,
• Demonstrated experience writing Switching and access permits
• Experience with MS office and SAP,
• Good time management skills,
• Electrical grade A license,
• High Voltage Switching certificate,
• Low voltage rescue and CPR,
• Relevant OEM Training,
• Have necessary tickets and licenses that are current (3 years from date of issue).
