About the role
The role of HMO Medical Registrar is to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary fashion to optimise the outcomes of all patients presenting to our Medical Unit.
To personally deliver excellent general emergency care at Western District Health Services. The HMO will demonstrate clinical leadership and work collaboratively with relevant organisational colleagues at WDHS and outside organisations. Relevant colleagues and departments at WDHS include medical, emergency department, outpatient's department, other physicians, general surgeons, radiologists, junior medical staff, nursing staff and the pathology service.
The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required. All employees must comply with WDHS vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster shots. WDHS is a smoke-free workplace.
