As a Home Care worker, you’ll help support our clients to maintain their independence and live at home for longer. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!
We currently have multiple positions available in the Snowy Monaro region (Jindabyne/ Cooma/ Berridale) for all levels of experience, from Grade 1 ($29.27) per hour, to Grade 3 ($32.70) per hour. Applications are encouraged from passionate and dedicated care workers with opportunities for 20 hours per week employment.
Your work may include:
- Domestic Assistance including cleaning and cooking or meal preparation
- Personal care including getting them up, showering and dressing
- Driving clients to medical appointments or taking them shopping
- Providing social support and community engagemen
- Providing complex care and medication management

To be successful you will have:
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Current valid driver’s licence
- A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A big heart – you’re empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable). If you’re not currently qualified, we can help get you there through our training organisation IRT Academy
