The Role:Due to growth we are looking for a Home Care Service Advisor reporting to the Home Care Regional Manager to support the coordination and management of care to our clients who are on Home Care Packages in Parkes and surrounding areas.Full-Time role based at Parkes, Home Care Office - Monday-Friday with no weekends or on call. To be successful in this role:Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse advantageousAvailable to travel within the Western/ Central and West Region: Parkes, Forbes, Orange, Bathurst and LithgowDemonstrated knowledge and application of care in Home Support Programs and Aged Care funding modellingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of organisational and time management skillsIntermediate-Advance Microsoft Office skillsExperience in Home care, with a qualification in Community Services, Aged Care, Community or Case Management (highly desirable)Driver's license and car with comprehensive insurance (required)Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinationsProven experience using a client database or online client management toolTake ownership and manage your own schedule each week Reporting into the Regional Manager providing updates About Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT)We are a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to empower older people to ‘live life to the full’.
