About the opportunity
At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Home Care Worker, you’ll create cherished moments each day.
You will support our clients to live independently at home by providing personal care, domestic assistance, in home and out of home respite, assisted shopping and meal preparation.
We have a number of opportunities across Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and New South Wales. There are a number of shifts available, get in touch today to see what opportunities are best for you and your availability!
What you’ll bring
You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.
To thrive in this role, you will have
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A safe, sensible approach with a practical understanding of people’s physical limitations.
- The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients’ individual needs.
We would also love you to have
- Certificate III in Home / Aged Care or Certificate IV in Disability.
- Drivers Licence.
- First Aid Certificate including CPR.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
- Current COVID-19 certificate and proof of current influenza vaccination.
