About the Role
Our team of Support Workers provide day-to-day assistance to adults and children living with disability – supporting them to live independently and helping them work toward their goals and discover new passions. When your job is to give someone the freedom to live life how they choose, each day is different – and there’s plenty of fun to be had along the way!
We are looking for reliable, eager disability Support Workers to assist our client in the Ipswich area.
The right candidate will have flexible availability for various permanent shifts from Monday to Sunday during the mornings and afternoons.
Shift Times:
Monday – Sunday – 8am – 3pm or 3pm – 10pm.
Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Personal care experience or knowledge is desirable.
- Manual handling and hoisting.
- Peg feeding experience or knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Social support and companionship
- Appointments
- Domestic duties and meal preparation
Mandatory Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- First Aid and CPR certificates
