Your Next Opportunity:
We currently have an opportunity for aHome Care Worker to join our team at Princes Court. Multiple opportunities are available, full time, part time and casual. Part time employment need to have a minimum 3 days per week availability. Shifts available mainly afternoon/evenings and mornings. Night shift leave relieving available.
You will be part of a dynamic care team that is influencing change in quality of aged care, fostering a positive culture and team approach to service delivery and contributing to the well-being of all residents, whilst ensuring that all residents experience the Princes Court resident-centred care approach that promotes living life to the end.
This position supports consumers to remain living independently within their community. This is achieved by the delivery of quality domestic and social support services to individual consumers in line with their specific needs and preferences and ensure their rights, cultural, spiritual and individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily living.
Responsibilities:
- Household duties and cleaning.
- Assist with shopping, banking and bill paying, or undertake on consumers behalf.
- Assist with meals as required including preparation and cooking.
- Assist with personal hygiene, mobility and medication prompts.
- Liaise with doctors and emergency services, where considered necessary.
- Assist and supervise with professionally determined exercises.
- Provide respite care/social support.
