ACI Home Care provides services to older people through the Home Care Package (HCP) program in Southwest Sydney. We place the client at the heart of everything we do and provide care services with compassion and competency.
We are currently seeking both permanent PT and casual staff to join our growing team.
The Position
You will support clients to retain independence and wellbeing through the provision of client centered personal care, domestic assistance, leisure and social activities, transport services, and meal preparation and nutrition.
You will work with the Care Manager to ensure that the client's needs and goals are met, and any concerns are escalated and acted on.
You will be meticulous in completing client documentation in a comprehensive and timely manner, and be able to confidently use a Smartphone enabled App to record your shift and travel times.
To be successful in this role you will need
- Completion of Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
- Previous experience working with older people
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassion for older people from both mainstream and multicultural backgrounds
- An Australian driver's license and a reliable, insured motor vehicle
- Valid police check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Language skills are highly regarded.
