About the role...
In this role, you will be working within the team to assist with the daily installation/uninstallation of properties and general jobs around the warehouse as required. As we continue to grow, other jobs may come up as required by the business.
- Assist in the selection of furniture and accessories for the purpose of styling homes
- Assist at warehouse and job site with the packing and unpacking of furniture and accessories
- Assist with hanging artwork
- Assist with floor cleaning, stock pack-aways, and general cleaning (including amenities)
- Safely load and unload accessories and furniture to and from jobs sites and warehouse
- Identify risks during installation and uninstall, follow procedure and ensure the protection of all floors, walls, and fittings within the property
- Installation and pack down of accessories at jobs sites and warehouse
- Return to the warehouse to collect additional items for installations as instructed
- Identification of linen and furniture requiring laundering/repair/replacement on pack down
- Management of keys including their safe storage and sign in and out Some weekend work may be required
About you….
- You have a passion for interior design and are a creative mastermind. Colours, trends and styles is your jam and is what you love doing.
- You are innovative and also want to give things a go
- Have a desire to learn, improve, receive feedback, and contribute to a greater goal.
- You are profesh, committed and serious about your career - we want someone to join us for the long term and grow within the business potentially taking on a managerial role.
- We are looking for someone with styling experience and ideally in Home Staging in the real estate scene
- You must be comfortable lifting items such as couches, entertainment units, etc with the help of team members into homes. We try to keep our furniture as light as possible but some items require muscles.
- Experience in a similar role is highly preferred but not essential. As long as you have an eye for design you will be considered.
- You must have a driver's license as driving to properties will be required at times
