Roche Group is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our team as Horticultural Supervisor focusing on the iconic Hunter Valley Gardens, Harrigan’s Hunter Valley, Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens and Roche Estate, this role will be responsible for leading and mentoring a dedicated team in a diverse range of horticultural activities.
Reporting to the Horticultural Manager, this role will contribute to the team’s success by being a leader and motivator and continually improving standards and processes.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in leading teams, sharing their knowledge on plant care and identification, pruning, hedging and the establishment and maintenance of bedding plants.
Hunter Valley Gardens prides themselves on their display gardens and open spaces and are looking for a Horticultural Supervisor that is hands on, shows pride in their work and can effectively lead a team across multiple sites.
Formal qualifications in horticulture and 3 years previous experience in leading and mentoring teams in large-scale ground’s maintenance are preferred but not essential. In return Hunter Valley Gardens can offer career stability, opportunities for professional development and a competitive salary.
