We are looking for Landscapers and Horticulturists!
Our Client is a reputable landscaping company based in Berry, who service the South Coast & Southern Highlands with high level maintenance landscaping, residential and commercial landscaping construction / general repair and are highly regarded within the area.
Our Client is currently seeking a passionate Landscaper or Horticulturist in the South Coast region to join the team and assist in implementing and maintaining hard & soft landscaping projects while also overseeing and supervising a small team of labourers.
As a Landscaper or Horticulturist, duties may include;
- Implementing landscaping projects based on client preferences and site conditions
- Supervising and coordinating labourers to ensure efficient project execution
- Landscape construction, including retaining walls, facade, stepping's, feature walls and turf laying
- Lawn and grounds maintenance- brush cutting, weeding, spot spray, pruning, garden maintenance, fencing, mulching and plant maintenance
- Collaborating with supervisors, contractors and team members to ensure project success
- Assist in both soft and hard landscaping tasks
- Mulching
- Turfing
- Shovelling
- Wheelbarrowing
- Planting shrubs
What we are looking for in a Landscaper or Horticulturist;
To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:
- WHS General Induction Certificate (White Card) (Essential)
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting (Essential)
- Qualification in Horticulture, Landscaping, or relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of plant species, soil types, and landscaping techniques
- Ability to set tasks and coordinate a small team of labourers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to apply WHS to your work place.
- Can reliably commute to job sites
- Reliability!
