Band 3 - $66,893 - $70,540 yearly, (Includes Industry and Maintenance Allowances) plus 11% statutory superannuation
An exciting opportunity currently exists within Natural Environment & Parks to join a team of horticultural professionals in a permanent full-time capacity.
In this role you will help with providing a variety of horticultural works programs as part of a team. Working together you will maintain numerous parks and gardens across Wellington Shire Council. You will also direct and assist others in maintenance works.
If you have sound knowledge of horticulture as well as an eye for detail, good communication skills, a positive and flexible approach to work and a genuine commitment to getting the best results, this will be a perfect position for you.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
- What Tertiary qualification in Horticulture (Certificate III or above) and/or significant relevant experience do you have?
- How have you gained experience and an understanding of public landscape management?
- Show us how you have demonstrated your knowledge of horticulture methods, plant species and herbicide applications.
- What do you do to demonstrate you understand OH&S policy and procedures and how do you create a safe working environment?
- What licenses do you hold. For example: Current Victorian Drivers Licence, Medium rigid truck licence?
