Exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, a new state of the art facility with more beds and increased services.
The new hospital will include:
- more operating theatres and recovery spaces
- expanded emergency department
- enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services
- enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics
- new interventional cardiology service
- new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service.
The TweedValley Hospital will be a major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region. It will provide the health services required to meet the needs of the growing population of the region beyond 2032.

Employment will commence at The Tweed Hospital in preparation for the transition to Tweed Valley Hospital (TVH). TVH will be opening. on 14 May 2024.

In this role you are required to provide prompt, effective and efficient cleaning services to meet patient flow demands and a hazard free environment for patients, staff and visitors.
If you have:
- General knowledge of cleaning techniques with attention to detail and understanding of how infection may be spread in the workplace
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to keep yourself and others safe in a work environment
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
