Ward - Orderly
Multiple positions available Part Time and Casual
The Role
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Orderly is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of patients, distributing internal mail and linen, assisting with environmental services, collection and delivery of equipment and other duties to support the Hospital as required.
Essential Criteria
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
- Strong teamwork focus
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Genuine interest and desire to help people
- Must be flexible and able to work different day/hours of the week
Desirable Criteria
- Current Orderly experience within the Health Sector
- Experience in Hospital Equipment
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistant or studying towards.
Specific on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate.
