The Program
Offering roles across two of our Adventure Pathways locations, Mylor Adventure Camp found 35 minutes from Adelaide CBD in the Adelaide Hills caters to small and large groups looking to connect to themselves, others, God and the natural world through outdoor experiences. Wirraway Homestead located just outside of Strathalbyn is the perfect place for school groups to get away and grow together.
About the role - Casual roles available
Baptist Care SA Adventure Pathways have exciting opportunities for casual Hospitality Assistants to join our team. This is your chance to help ensure that the Adventure Campsites are consistently a highlight for guests by assisting in the preparation and serving of food and accommodation cleaning.
It takes a small army of enthusiastic, caring and capable people to ensure our guests have the BEST CAMP EVER! And you can be part of it!
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assist with meal preparation and serving under the guidance of Hospitality staff
- Help with clean up after the meals and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Regular dishwashing, mopping and sanitisation of work areas
- Support the cleanliness of the accommodation, including tasks like vacuuming, mopping and bathroom cleaning
About you:
You will be an industrious person, passionate about food and hospitality and be willing to go above and beyond to help your team.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- High school level Food and Hospitality subject studies
- Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene practices
- The ability to work efficiently in a team and follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain an organised workspace
Specific Requirements:

You will be required to have, or be willing to obtain:
- DHS: Child-Related Employment Screening/Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- Safe Environments for Children and Young People training
- Apply First Aid
- Ability to work outside standard office hours
